1. Stop splurging on links

 Avoid using those link building services that offer hundreds of links for a cheap price. 9. Avoid nulled WordPress templates

These templates and themes might have hidden links, malicious codes and can link to good or bad websites. It is necessary to check whether such links are present in the site codes. The themes and templates are licensed by developers and if it’s violated by bloggers then developers can report to the Google DMCA and get a blog/website penalized.

10. Not optimizing Title and Meta description tags

Meta descriptions are important parts of SEO and should be composed carefully. These 2 elements are visible in the search engine results; therefore, must be optimized. The title tags should be clean and contain all the keywords necessary for ranking the page. Compose a unique title tag with at least one punctuation mark. Title tag length should be less than 70 characters, whereas the description tag length could be around 160 characters. Also if title tags are similar on many pages then there will be Meta tag description errors and that can be a costly mistake.
