A) Profile Image Guidelines

This will be a photo representing you or your brand on Facebook. It will appear when you post to other walls, comment on posts or when you are searched with Facebook search option

(i) Must be at least 180 * 180 pixels.

(ii) The photo will appear on page 170*170 pixels.

(iii) Photo thumbnail will appear throughout Facebook at 32*32 pixels.

B) Cover Photo Image Guidelines

(i) Appear on the page at 820 * 312 pixels.

(ii) Anything less will be stretched.

(iii) The minimum size of 400 * 150 Pixels.

(iv) For best results, upload an RGB JPG file less than 100 KB.

(v) Images with a logo or text may be best as a PNG file.

C) Shared Images Guidelines

(i) Recommended upload size of 1200*630 pixels.

(ii) Will appear in feed at a max width of 470 pixels.

(iii) Will appear on a page with a max width of 504 pixels.

D) Shared link Image Guidelines

(i) Recommended upload size of 1200*628 pixels.

(ii) Square photo: Min 154*154 in the feed.

(iii) Square photo: Min 116*116 on the page.

(iv) Rectangular photo: Min 470*246 in the feed.

(v) Rectangular photo: Min 484*252 on the page.

E) Event Image Guidelines

(i) Recommended upload size of 1920*1080 pixels.

(ii) Minimum dimensions: 470*174 pixels.

(iii) Shows in the feed: 470*174.

F) Business Page Profile Guidelines

(i) Recommended upload size of 180*180 pixels.

(ii) Appears on Desktop Page: 170*170 pixels.

(iii) Appears on Smartphones: 128*128 pixels.

(iv) Appears on most feature phones: 36*36.

(v) Photo thumbnail will appear on Facebook: 32*32.

(vi) Business Page images will be cropped to fit a square.

C) Brand/Company Page Background Image Guidelines

(i) Video must maintain a 16:9 aspect ratio.

(ii) In order to qualify as full HD, your dimension must be least 1280*720 pixels.

(iii) Appears in stream collapsed at 500* 253 pixels.

(i) Recommended size: 1080*1920 pixels.

(ii) Minimum resolution: 600*1087.

(iii) Aspect ratio: 9:16.

(iv) Max title size is 4GB.
