As you would agree that social media not only means Facebook or Linkedin but it includes a wide range of online platforms that support social interaction between people, various communities and businesses. What is the social media strategy for your business? Have you designed one? Here are 4 social media marketing tips that will help you grow tremendously in a realistically short period of time.

1. Use different social media tools in a combination

This is a smart and time efficient way of marketing your products and/or services online. You can use a piece of content in several ways that ultimately works as an integrated social media marketing plan. For example- You posted a video on YouTube. Then you can write about it on your company’s page on Facebook and prompt readers to comment on it.

2. Maintain a Company Blog

It is a good idea to have a blog by your company’s name. This will help you connect with your target audience easily and more effectively. There are few things which you should remember while doing so. These are as follows-

a) Create quality and original content.
b) Be regular in posting the content.
c) Make it interactive by experimenting with various plugins available on different social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook.
d) Entertain your reader. This doesn’t mean adding unnecessary humour but designing the content in such a way that it engages the reader for quite some time.

3. Develop Brand Image Consistency

No matter how many online platforms you choose to promote your brand, you need to speak with the same voice everywhere. It means that you should not change your agendas or offers on different mediums but make it a clear point that the crux of the matter remains the same everywhere.

For example- Company A creates an offer for its product say ‘Noodles’. On Twitter it displays its ad showing the price of a 100gms noodles packet as Rs. 10 and the same ad on facebook shows its price as Rs. 8.75.

This is true for all the communications a company does on different social media platforms.

Just test these 3 social media tips for your social media campaigns and observe the difference in the results quite soon.

Very good guidelines. But I’m confused in one point. I’m posting regularly my blogs on my Facebook page. But hardly any one clicks on those. Why? What I’ve to do?
