Always ensure that the email being send to prospective customers is based upon the opt-in method. This means that the customer enrolls himself for a subscription newsletter or product updates of the company through an online subscription form; paper forms available in trade shows/exhibitions etc. This protects your email  from being marked as spam & ensures the deliverability of the emails. The key point here is getting  explicit permission from the customer, without which the marketer risks loosing the goodwill and loyalty of the customer.

  • Build customer relationship through consistent emails

Once you have successfully enrolled a customer it is of utmost importance that a clear cut step by step  strategy be executed to engage the customer. Always follow a 3 stage process in engaging the customers

    1. Initially send a confirmation link to ensure that the customer is really interested in receiving the future communication emails

    1. Spam trigger testing for the subject lines &  test for content filtering
    2. Send consistent mails from a stable IP address
    3. Create a rapport between the hosting ISP (domains to which you send maximum emails) to classify your IP address as white listed
