Nowadays, there are various organizations that have started organizing Webinars with industry experts, which helps them growing their subscribers, build authority and also connect with audience. However, despite getting successful leaders and interesting topics, many of them are not getting the desired number of attendees. Either way, most of them have one huge question – how to get more and more people sign up?

Although, promoting a webinar takes time, but at the same time it is also important to ensure that you are integrating some steady efforts. Today, in this blog post, we will discuss some simple ideas that can help you more people towards your webinars or virtual events.

  • Your own blogs and website – These are considered to be the two most reliable solutions to attract webinar attendees. You should always use your own blogs to talk about your events. In fact you might have also seen various organizations such as social media examiner and social media today using their own blogs to promote their events. You can use your posts to explain the benefits of attending the event along with a link to the sign-up page.
  • Emails – This is another major opportunity that should not be worth missing. Remember, your own subscribers would always be interested in attending events organized by you. However, at the same time it is also to ensure that you also send reminder and follow-up emails. In fact, you can also integrate testimonials in your emails that will motivate people to sign up for the event. Another interesting caption that you can use in your emails is – ‘forward to a friend’
  • Social Networking – We all are aware about the power of this medium. You can promote your webinar in your Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter networks. Additionally, if you have created groups in any of these networks, you can consider promoting your webinar to those groups. Making use of the LinkedIn announcement feature would not really be a bad option. This can help you to get a good number of registrations for your session.
  • Partners and Affiliates – You can also reach out to your strategic partners and affiliates to promote your session. In fact, you can also ask the webinar leaders to promote the event within their networks, which can again be a good way to bring in more number of attendees.
  • Offer your attendees a thank you gift – It is also important to understand that out of the number of people that have registered for your session, a good percentage of them would also be the ones that would want to attend your session, but due to some reason might not fail to do so. Therefore, sending your registrants and attendees, the recording and presentation of the session can help them to review the session once again. This can be a great way to express your gratitude.
