Interview With Davinder Kaur, Digital Marketing Master Course Participant

3ecf1c3Davinder Kaur belongs to Delhi and graduated from HansRaj College, Delhi University with B.Sc. degree in Zoology (Hons.). She then got inclined to Advertising and Public Relations and did her PG in same. She has around 22 years of experience in Indian and Multi National Companies and started her career from Eureka Forbes Ltd., and then with well established names like The Hindustan Times, well known MNCs like dz card India Pvt. Ltd., Omnilife Groupo.

Presently, she is working with one of the well known Multinational stem cell company at Gurgaon, where she is directly in touch with doctors and patients for various disorders.

Over the years the responsibilities handled by her also gave her the opportunity to get associated in few set-ups where she was directly exposed to different areas of science and technology along with health related areas like FMCGs, nutritional supplements and upcoming area of stem cells.

The professional areas being handled by her in her 22 years of experience are at Pan India level. mainly in different areas of communication and crm, trainings, events, website contents, newsletters, market research, international business development and public relations along with related tools like social media and digital marketing.

Digital Vidya: What interested you in learning Digital Marketing?

Davinder: With experience of around 22 years in different areas, I thought of adding value to my knowledge and this was the best certification as I always found myself interested in different aspects of social and digital world.

Davinder: Gaining confidence in backend process of :

  • Facebook management
  • Google Adwords
  • Google Analytics
Digital Vidya: Please share your experience in learning through an instructor – led, online format.

Davinder: Interaction and learning through this channel is definitely much better as compared to only getting reading material and preparing at your own. Almost all sessions were very interested and utilization of time was taken care by the instructors. But in few classes, the session was started late and also ended late. In few sessions, technical error occurred and instructors had to repeat the same thing so many times, which added to wastage of time.

Davinder:

  • Timely recording updated in our accounts.
  • Presence of the management of Digital Vidya in the sessions.
  • Links to various webinars is also very encouraging and appreciated.
Digital Vidya: Do you suggest any changes to Digital Vidya so that the value of its courses can be enhanced further?

Davinder:

  • I would love to receive the recordings of all my classes in my email.
  • I do hope links of these classes are available to me in future also to refresh my knowledge.
  • I wish to receive more of study material.
  • I wish there were more assignments given to us.

Over all, it was informative and educative course.
