Digital Vidya: What interested you in learning Digital Marketing?

Tania: There is a lot to learn in Digital Marketing. It’s a subject that keeps evolving and at no point can one say that you know everything about Digital Marketing. There are new technologies that one can learn and use to improve their business skills in any sphere. Moreover, since I am working as a Digital Media Manager, I wanted to acquaint myself with all the aspects of Digital Marketing and would continue to do so in the future as well.

Digital Vidya: Which course are you participating in / participated at Digital Vidya?

Tania: The 6-month Digital Marketing Masters Course which had 6 modules – E-mail Marketing, Social Media, SEO, SEM Inbound Marketing and Web Analytics

Digital Vidya: Why did you chose Digital Vidya’s course?

Tania: I have previously done a Social Media Workshop with Digital Vidya sometime in Dec 2012 and I found the course curriculum very comfortable and relevant which is primarily the reason I would recommend Digital Vidya.

Digital Vidya: Please share top 3-5 takeaways from the course you are participating in / participated at Digital Vidya.

Tania: It really enhanced my knowledge on inbound marketing – how to plan and strategise your goals

It definitely broadened my horizon of looking at various options available – this can certainly help a lot of entrepreneurs too by exposing them to various avenues of modern day marketing and how they can reach out to their potential target audiences.

Lastly, its always good to be updated with the latest technology and trends. This is not just valid for people in this field but it can apply to any individual in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Planning, Strategizing or Corporate Communications.

Digital Vidya: Please share your experience in learning through an instructor-led, online format.

Tania:

Each and every session was an experience in itself. The e-mail marketing classes were slightly technical but very enriching, Social Media with Prateek was extremely entertaining and interactive.

Digital Vidya: What do you like most about Digital Vidya’s training program?

Tania: It’s a very comfortable way of learning, moreover since many of us are working professionals, we really don’t have the time to attend lectures in person, so even if you are not available at that particular time, you always have the option of going through recording later on.

Digital Vidya: Do you suggest any changes to Digital Vidya so that the value of its courses can be enhanced further?

Tania: I think the curriculum, the sessions and the assignment format is absolutely fine. Just a few suggestions, firstly I hope we can use the course content for as long as we want to because many a times we actually don’t get the time to be present during the sessions. Secondly, although we do have weekly assignments and a final exam it would be nicer if there would also be a 1 hour test after each course module, just to ensure every one has got their basics right.
