Facebook is a social media necessity for all marketers and brands to reach out to millions of people worldwide daily. To promote their brands, sell products; buy products from suppliers, giving services, answering consumer complaints and keeping the brand in right shape by performing. One can share or connect with anyone with freedom. Facebook Page is very important because it’s a free flow of information, you can post anything it will reach mass audience in no time.

Facebook Mission:

To give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected. People use Facebook to stay connected with friends and family, to discover what’s going on in the world, and to share and express what matters to them. Any Person – may be individual, advertiser, marketer, organization, or other firm or entity can access and share information within the Facebook.

Here now let’s see Top 5 things you can do on your Facebook Page.

1) Learn more about your Fans

Almost everyone is familiar or heard about Facebook Insights right, its platform of basic analytics tool. It gives idea about certain things like the demographics of your Fans (age, gender, location, interests, etc.), which sounds great isn’t it. But this only gives you range. What if you are looking for creative ways to reach out to prospective Facebook Fans, or looking for a little more information about the makeup of your target market?

Facebook has all these answers, but we need to dig it little bit deeper. Now let me introduce you to Facebook Audience Insights, the analytic platform which not only gives you everything you get with the standard Facebook Insights, but also the Likes, Interests and “more demographics” beyond your thoughts of your Page as well as the Pages of your competitors or rivals.

2) You Can Change Your Facebook Page URL

Let’s see just imagine I’m a photographer who started business by taking sports pictures. I choose my Facebook Page’s URL to be “www.facebook.com/SportsPicsBySantosh”. But then I realized that there was way more money in taking family and wedding pictures. Now One May Ask, Can I change the URL?

Yes absolutely you can change. Once, so make it count.

You’ll need to be an admin to change your page’s URL:

Head to facebook.com/username

Below Create your Facebook web address, select a your Page from the drop down menu;

Type a username and click Check Availability; if the username is available, click Confirm. If someone hasn’t already claimed your URL the change should occur immediately.

Important Note: Usernames can only contain letters or numbers, must be at least 5 characters long, and can’t contain extensions.

3) You Can Change Your Facebook Page Name

Again just imagine I started a small business with my friend, entitled S&S Solutions Ltd. We both created a Facebook Page and loved it. But then the stress of solutions became too much for us, and we separated. We’re no longer “S&S”. But now I need to change my Facebook page.

Now let me tell you how to change your Facebook Page name:

If less than 200 people like your Page, you must be an admin or editor to change your Page’s name:

Click About below your Page’s cover picture.

Click Page Info in the left column.

Over the Name section and click Edit.

Enter a new name and click Save Changes.

If 200 or more people like your Page, you must submit a request to Facebook in order to change your Page’s name. If your request is approved, you won’t be able to change your Page’s name again. You can only change your Page’s name once.

To submit a request:

Click About below your Page’s cover photo.

Click Page Info in the left column.

Over the Name section and click Edit.

Click Request Change.

Fill out the form and click Send.

4) You must embed your Facebook Page on your Website to Get Fans or Likes

How many people see your Status, Posts or Page on Facebook in a day? And how many people traffic to your website? If it’s a Retailers page, they get significantly more traffic to their site than we do our Facebook Page. But of course we all need to generate Facebook Fans for promotion or anything.

Embedding (part) of your Facebook Page on your website is a great solution and a fantastic way to give more people a chance to Like your business.

Anyone can like or comment your Page and Posts directly on your website, like a mini-Facebook on your About Us page.

5) Get Advanced with Facebook Video

Videos have been latest trend on all social media platform; we all know Vine App is a huge hit. Now if you have observed the news-feed section on your Facebook you can measure or just think about it. I’m talking about videos part in past two years the videos have huge impact on social media. The advertising has shown sudden change before it was pictures ads, now they talk about products and explain it too. This is just because Facebook’s algorithm “the thing that determines what percentage of your Fans sees your Posts” has started to rank video higher than link, text, or image Posts. And I’m talking way higher, like 300-400% increase in impressions. Wow! So we need to be creative to create more videos, it’s as simple as that.

There are two things we can do with videos on Facebook.

First one go to the “more” tab of your Facebook page.

There you can choose to create a “featured video” which will show as soon as people arrive on your Facebook video page. I recommend creating an Intro video for your brand, something with a personal feel and face-to-face interaction.

We can also create a playlist (or five) of your videos. Instead of a 5-minute walkthrough of your tools, five one-minute walkthroughs which break it down into bite size, palatable pieces. Shorter movies are easier to film, edit, and create a sense of completion in your viewers and Fans.

Facebook is a constantly-changing and versatile marketing platform, so it’s easy to miss some capabilities as it develops. All we need to try is developing the page in right place at right time with of course right method. We must utilize the technology and use new methods to keep our business in perfect track with the knowledge of these tips or points you all can get better.
