There’s almost no one who doesn’t like being welcomed. Three shops may be selling the same product at the same price but only one would be the most preferred choice of a customer. This selection of alternatives is highly dependent upon things like courteous staff, ambience, etc.
The case remains the same with any business. Making a customer feel welcomed always puts the customers at ease.

The same can be applied to the subscribers to your blog. The effort put in to get subscribers to your website can be really ruined if the subscriber does not read your content. Welcome emails remind the subscriber what exactly they signed up for since it sets the expectations by disclosing what content will be delivered and at what frequency.

Here’s how you can delight your new blog subscribers through a great welcome mail:

1.) Timeliness: Why wait, if it can be done now? This is exactly what should be done with welcome mails. They should be sent as immediately as the user subscribes. Waiting for a few hours, day or 2, may be a week would make the user forget about the subscription and loose interest. Keeping the users gripped is the key!

2.) Subject Line: Short, crisp, descriptive, attractive, catchy are only a few adjectives that a subject line should be associated with. As a subject line makes the first impact it shouldn’t look like a bulk mail.

3.) Copy: Too much text? No! Adding a small welcome note along with an email to reach out to for assistance does the job. Adding thumbnails of the most interesting new content pieces also helps to get the subscriber started.

4.) Freebies: Everyone loves free stuff! Why not give them? It’s a great idea to add a free copy of your most circulated research or probably a free coupon never hurts. It’s a great incentive to have people subscribe.

5.) Reduce the no. of steps: You don’t want the subscriber to go through the cumbersome procedure to authenticate their emails, it may be a security measure but as a blog subscriber it doesn’t really make great sense. Subscribing should be as easy as entering an email address and submitting it. Also, the subscribe option should be easily visible on the blog to make it easier for users to find it.

Giving your subscribers a compelling reason to join and then making their stay great, starts with an amazing welcome note and it should be easy to get this right with these suggestions.

I together with my buddies have already been reading through the best things found on the blog and then at once came up with a horrible feeling I never thanked the web blog owner for those techniques. All the young men happened to be as a consequence excited to read all of them and now have pretty much been tapping into these things. Thank you for actually being indeed accommodating and also for obtaining this kind of important themes millions of individuals are really desirous to know about. My sincere apologies for not expressing appreciation to sooner.
