1) Call To Action

Your ads must include a clear call to action so that the reader knows what he should do to avail the offer from your side. Many case studies show that the businesses have made tremendous achievements by simply making minor changes in their CTAs. For example- Instead of using ‘Submit’ for inviting the comments/feedback from your customers, you can use ‘Send In’. A call to action is a key component of a PPC ad and hence, you should use just the right words to get more and more number of clicks on your ad.

2) Landing Pages

A landing page is a web page where the user starts his experience with the company. Therefore, it is required to make it clean and simple for the reader to spend at least a few seconds on it and build an interest in exploring it further. In order to achieve this, you should ensure that the ad contains the right link(s) for the landing page. A PPC ad should not just prompt the user to take an action, but also help him land on the right web page.

3) Restrict The Number Of Paths

The paths to land on the landing page must be limited. This is necessary as the audience should not get confused with which path to take, and must get landed on the web page as quickly as possible. Do not design a PPC ad like a puzzle game challenging the user to find the right link to the landing page. Only one or two paths are sufficient help the user land on the landing page.
