Digital Vidya: What interested you in learning Digital Marketing?
Satish: Two years back I had decided to put curtains on my corporate career in order to implement on the startup idea I was toying for the past few years. Being an ex-media professional and marketing enthusiast I wanted to keep pace with the trend and changing times and I realized that digital marketing knowledge is a must. Hence came the need to empower myself with the Digital Marketing skills and know-how.

Digital Vidya: Please share your experience in learning through an instructor-led, online format.
Satish: Initially, I faced some challenges pertaining to asking questions during the session, including, typing it fast before the trainer switches over to the next slide or topic. I wasn’t comfortable because this was my first e-learning experience, that too live and led by an instructor. Before this I was used to offline i.e. classroom mode of learning environment. But I must say that Nithy, the trainer for the first module which was Email Marketing, showed a great deal of patience and attended my entire queries and made it very interesting and interactive too. After second session itself, I believe, I became very comfortable with the online environment.
During the entire 6 months course, I found that all the trainers at Digital Vidya do take care of this aspect and are very supportive. They do not hesitate to repeat a particular point to the satisfaction of an individual participant even if a single participant has a request.

Satish: It is difficult to point out one single thing as I admire Digital Vidya’s training programme for lot of things. It satisfied my present needs of understanding the digital ecosystem and also equipped me with the necessary marketing tools to step in as a marketing professional. Satish: Though the study curriculum of Digital Vidya and its content is very crisp and delivery is par excellence, I believe that as we strive for perfection in any field, we realize that there is a scope for betterment in one or the other areas. There were occasion when I felt that the time duration of the session should have been extended a bit, say by 20-30 mins. OR alternatively, the module should have been covered in 5 sessions instead of 4 sessions.
