With a view to put across knowledge and information based on digital marketing, a session on Digital Marketing wasKapil Sir GCA speaker conducted by ISB as a part of the 3-day execute level programme. This session was designed to give Indian prospective of digital marketing to the audience. The session was conducted by Kapil Nakra, Co-founder, Digital Vidya. 
The session kick-started with a brief outline where ‘Digital Marketing’ fits in for various business objectives. The session encaptured case studies/examples on how companies in India are trying to leverage Digital all various business objectives.

In the session, the participant also did couple of exercises on ‘How to leverage Data available on Social & Search Platforms to do Market Research?’

While interacting with the participants,  one thing that came out clearly was that brands are really confused about how to effectively use Digital to fulfill various business objectives. They are primarily interacting with agencies. But agencies only talk about things they are good at and they can execute profitably. This restrict their discussions to building reach using Digital Media. While no one is focusing on how to effectively build targeted reach and how to effectively convert them to business. In the session, while sharing various case studies, everybody began so get some clarity on various peaces of the puzzle and how to fit them together.
