Digital Vidya which is now Asia’s leading Digital Marketing training company was an initiative by serial entrepreneurs Pradeep Chopra and Kapil Nakra. Pradeep and Kapil have been part of Internet Industry since year 2000, when they started their first venture.

Graduated from IIT Delhi in 1999, Pradeep and Kapil started Whizlabs Software, one of the leading players in Technology and Project Management certification preparation industry. They accidentally touched the power of Digital Media when they could leverage it to sell Whizlabs first product to someone in US in Jan 2001. Since then they have been practitioners of Digital Marketing.

Till 2009, Pradeep and Kapil were informally supporting other professionals and entrepreneurs in leveraging Digital Marketing by sharing their expertise and experience. A close friend suggested them to do something formal so that wider audience could benefit through experience in Digital. It was also needed for the growth of the Internet Industry.

The idea about Digital Vidya came into existence in Oct 2009 and Digital Vidya started its journey with very 1st workshop on Social Media Marketing in Delhi in Jan 2010. Within few months, Digital Vidya became the destination for Social Media education in India. In addition to offering public programs, Digital Vidya started offering in-house customized training programs for corporations. It’s first corporate training was conducted for Top Management at Intuit in Bangalore. Soon, Digital Vidya started conducting its workshops in other countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Oman, UAE.

Digital Vidya celebrated its 100th Workshop across Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore in June 2012. In the beginning, Digital Vidya was addressing the question ‘Why Social Media’ through its 2-day Social Media Marketing Workshop. However, over years, thanks to the growth of Digital Media, this question got changed to ‘How Digital Marketing’. Accordingly, Digital Vidya started offering Digital Marketing trainings including 1-month long online courses in 2011.



Individuals and organizations including agencies started looking upto to Digital Vidya to create industry standard for Digital Marketing skills. Moreover, students and academic institutions also started to realize the importance of Digital Media as one of the industries to build rewarding career. In order to take care of these demands, Digital Vidya associated with Vskills, a Govt. of India enterprise to launch joint certification programs.


In the year 2013, Digital Vidya launched its now flagship program, Certified Digital Marketing Master (CDMM) which is a 6 months instructor-led, online certification course in digital marketing. This course is being attended by hundreds of participants across the world.

Continuing on its success of online certification programs, Digital Vidya recently announced the launch of 10 new certification programs in Digital Marketing with Vskills.

Digital Vidya has contributed to the growth of over 5000 professionals and students from more than 2000 organizations and academic institutions through its various Digital Marketing training programs including customized in-house training programs.
