What is your advice to newbies who want to build career in Digital Marketing?
Jhilmil: Till date with my experience and knowledge in this field, I observed this is a field of less rules and more work based on analysis and to have good understanding of the people visiting any website, so newbies also follow the same.
What are the challenges a person is likely to face when s/he enters into Digital Marketing industry? How can s/he overcome those?
Jhilmil: One of the top challenges as a digital marketer is that an individual is expected to know everything with deep understanding. Moreover, since new things keep coming too fast so to keep pace with everything may be a bit difficult.
For someone who’s looking at full time or part time job or an internship in Digital Marketing, what approach would you advice?
Jhilmil: Try to be updated always about each and every new aspect coming in.
Digital media especially Social media channels such as Facebook can eat up a lot of your productive time if not used wisely. Do you agree? What all can one do to efficiently leverage these channels for personal growth?
Jhilmil: Yes, I agree. While working professionally on these channels one should always keep in mind why they are on that portal.
If you were given a chance to rebuild your career, what changes you would have made to have even better growth and fulfillment?
Jhilmil: I have no regrets in my career path, I will continue to grow it further.
How do you see Digital Media evolving in future?
Jhilmil: As all things and processes are going digital, everybody needs to be visible digitally so digital media will evolve in each and every aspect of future.
