Susree Das hails from Kolkata and likes to call herself a Data Science Aspirant. On the academic front, she has completed her graduation from Neotia Institute Of Technology, Management and Science in Computer Science Engineering. She completed her schooling from St. Johns’ Diocesan Girls’ High School. In her leisure time, she likes to read storybooks.
What prompted you to learn Data Science &why?
Susree Das: Data Science is one of the hottest and trending career options today. The demand for data scientists is huge, the number is said to be much higher than the available candidates. So I made my mind to switch my career into Data Science as it has a lot of scope and will also remain so in the near future. Also, this work of handling data is really interesting and lucrative. From the business point of view, it gives the most accurate prediction, therefore, helping in decision making and preventing from business loss.
What are the top benefits of learning Data Science Online from the comfort of your home?
Susree Das: Online courses can be taken anytime, anywhere. The only requirement will be a good internet connection. Thus saving a lot of time and money in respect to physical colleges or institutes. Also, notes in PDFs, video tutorials, word documents, and assignments are also a plus point.

Susree Das: I got a real hands-on experience while doing the capstone project on sentiment analysis of IMDB dataset. It tested and brushed up the whole knowledge gained through the course.

Susree Das: My placement process has just begun. So it’s too early to comment on this. But I have that confidence and faith, that Digital Vidya will surely help me get through my dream job.
