A customer can easily connect to brands through a mobile phone by downloading the app like Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and many more. Social media tools are completely user friendly, it enables a user to instantly like a brand on Facebook, share the page with their peers, tweet an informative message or if I am in a store of Zara I can check in on foursquare. With just a tap I can multi- task anywhere at anytime.

      SMEs can leverage better on the social media platforms as they dont have deep pockets for advertising. With the right content, a strong bonding can be formed between the brand and the customers.

      I think the point (1) and point (2) contradict with each other. While the former aims at making money, the latter one puts more emphasis on relationship building. Should we first focus on commercial goal and then a social goal? or just the reverse?
