Very nice write up highlighting the value of PPC in SEM. It is well established that paid searched have higher conversion rate, higher average order size as well as lower bounce rates than the organic search. Moreover, the share of paid searches as a percentage of total search has also increased from 25% in 2012 to 33% in 2013 as per Marketlive report. Thus, PPC is an effective way to utilize the paid search feature and keep the advertising cost low as well.

Good text. Predominantly theoretical. Knowledge content is adequate. But what about its scope? How far pay per click can ensure ‘sale per click’? Is it possible? How?

True that! Running a PPC campaign is no doubt beneficial as one can see desired results in short-term unlike other digital marketing methods. But there has to be a proper bid management strategy, as this forms a basis when you want to set up a successful campaign. The best thing about PPC is customers can come know about improvements made in the campaign weekly or monthly.
