Lynn has over 25 years of experience in data analysis and problem-solving, including more than ten years at General Electric’s Global Research Center, where, among many other projects, she did extensive work in anomaly detection, using large sets of time series data; and designed successful heuristic algorithms for large optimization problems for which even writing down the problem was NP-hard.  In addition to GE, she has worked for clients as diverse as Pfizer, Parenting with Love and Limits, Lockheed Martin and FeverBee.  Her teaching experience is equally varied, including high school, college, graduate school and corporate courses in mathematics, statistics, and SQL, using both traditional and online modalities.

She is an author of two US Patents and several journal articles in peer-reviewed publications.  She earned her graduate degrees at Florida Institute of Technology: MS in operations research and PhD in applied mathematics.
