Digital Marketing Will Generate 1.5 Lakh Jobs In 2016

According to a recent study by the experts, it has come across that digital marketing will generate 1.5 lakh jobs in the year 2016. The HR experts have analysed that digital marketing space is likely to generate this huge number of jobs within a couple of years and give a boost to the business.

Since India is evolving and cashing upon digital marketing platforms and services for almost anything to everything, so, it is anticipated that the number of jobs in the upcoming year are likely to increase. Moreover, our country is evolving as a digital outsourcing hub, so the probable chances of excelling in areas such as online advertising, social media and website design are going to rise only.

V Sivaramakrishnan, executive president, Manipal Global Education Services asserted that:

“With both businesses and consumers increasingly shifting their focus to the digital medium, there will be 1.5 lakhs jobs available by 2016”

This whopping number has been estimated keeping in view the fact that the number of internet and mobile phone users are growing at a very fast pace. This further depicts that to keep up the pace in the e-commerce businesses, the internet entrepreneurs are anticipating as much as 25,000 new jobs in the digital marketing sphere this year.

Moreover, since there is a dearth of skilled and experienced professionals in the field of digital marketing, so, the HR department should emphasize on locating and placing the right pool of talented digital marketing professionals, at the right place. Furthermore, it is evident that the technological connect is feasible through several digital marketing avenues in the present day world and that is what can be a bridging gap between the need and help required to create job avenues. Substantiating the same HR firm Randstad India CEO Moorthy Uppaluri quoted:

“Hence, the focus of companies to enter new digital channels of engagement is driving up the demand for digital (marketing) professionals.”

Advaiya Solutions’s founder and CEO Manish Godha reflected similar views as that of Randstad India’s CEO that “Other areas for digital marketing growth include social marketing, content creation and management, search marketing, email marketing, analytics and video production.”

The strikingly alluring factor is that the starting package for digital marketing professionals is Rs. 4.5-5.5 lakh, courtesy Randstad India.
