Alok Kejriwal is a serial entrepreneur who specializes in launching digital startups and making them profitable. He has been successful in building ventures in India, China and the US.
In 1998, Alok created contests2win.com – India’s first online contesting site. His mobile venture in China – mobile2win was the one of the first to offer mobile competitions & promotions by pioneering a television to mobile interactive platform. He founded Media2win, an interactive digital agency in 2004.
Alok co-founded Games2win, his fourth Company in 2007, an online games company that specializes in creating casual games. Games2win has created over 750 original games, with over 45 million downloads worldwide on the iOs, Android and Kindle app stores. Games2win’s ‘Parking Frenzy’ became the #1 app on the USA iTunes store in the free app and free games categories.
Alok has successfully raised venture capital from some of the world’s leading VCs such as Softbank China, Siemens Acceleration, Clearstone Venture Partners and Silicon Valley Bank. His exits include the sale of Mobile2win China to Walt Disney and Mobile2win India to Norwest Venture Partners.
Alok collaborates with like-minded partners to start up companies and pounds the pavement to create rapid business traction. His signature is the ability to create companies that capture tremendous value with minimal capital investment. He actively mentors first generation entrepreneurs looking at starting up on their own and helps them with startup strategy, VC contacts, negotiating funding, introduction to fortune 500 brand owners and media owners.
Outside of work, Alok is an ardent Art of Living practitioner, meditator & spiritual seeker, attempts to write haiku poetry, blogs passionately and has founded a social network for entrepreneurs called therodinhoods.com. He is increasingly getting to be known as Alok ‘Rodinhood’ Kejriwal.
