Samvidha has over 8 years of experience in Digital Marketing. She is a MICA alumni and believes to be a forever student of Advertising. As an advertising & Communications major both in her Bachelors & as well as her Masters she loves to study different mediums and platforms. And she loves to understand how each can be used to its potential to give a brand its voice and reach its goals.
She started her career with Google and has worked there for 5 years in various roles from Business Development for Google India to Account Management for Small Medium Business across geographies such as North America, Australia and UK & Ireland. She has handled a book of business of over 300 accounts per quarter and shown a 15% growth QoQ using AdWords. She worked on big brands such as Ebay, Amazon, Chevrolet, ToysRUs and small businesses such as Handyman.com, WindowDecals.com and CarBras. She was the Display Specialist (Subject Matter Expert) in her last role at Google. And was also working on exploring mobile advertising and best practices for SMBs
After Google, she moved to the states and explored various passions like Modern Dancing, Tango, Jewelry Designing while she was there. She also worked closely with ISU and the Tango community in Iowa to bring them online via Social Channels. This is the time when her interest peaked for Social.
In 2013 she returned to India and started working with a Hyderabad based Digital Marketing and consulting company called Deep Red Ink. Here apart from building, managing and mentoring a Digital Marketing team, she managed a portfolio of big and small indian brands across verticals such as ISB, Tech Mahindra, PBEL City, and Taruni. Since then she has worked in 2 other digital agencies and managed teams with ˜12 FTE and brands across the board.
In her free time, you will find her travelling solo extensively and enjoying local food. She also exploring water colors and design.
