Pioneers in digital marketing fraternity- Digital Vidya that has been proactively involved in conducting Digital Marketing trainings for several corporate entities, educational institutions and other firms since 2009. With the increasing importance of digital marketing in almost every industry sector, it has become essential to acquaint the people about the different forms of digital marketing strategies to generate better results.

In the same frame of light, one of the lead trainers at Digital Vidya, Prateek Shah threw light on different aspects of digital marketing for the team of Penguin, which was held in the last week of May, 2015.

The workshop was not only interesting, engaging and motivating but it was educative, constructive as well as extremely effective and impactful. The highly interactive session gave a new perspective about digital media and digital media marketing to the Penguin’s team as it helped the, how to use it more productively.

Following were the key takeaways from the Digital Marketing orientation workshop led by Prateek:

  • Publishing industry is quite a challenging yet interesting industry to promote on social media. With the changing times, reading habits have also been changing and companies need to find the best way out to engage with their relevant audience.
  • Run of the mill campaigns do not seem to be doing too well anymore, thus indicating that innovation is the key to success.
  • Facebook is no more the only platform for publishers to promote their books and authors.
  • Besides this, the likes on Instagram, Pinterest as well as SlideShare also play a pivotal role.
  • Furthermore, LinkedIn Ads, no matter how expensive, can still lead to reaching out to the most relevant audience for certain books.

The Digital Marketing Orientation workshop turned out to be a huge success which was evident from the overwhelming positive feedback and response from the workshop participants. It was mentioned that the training was received very well. In fact, it was collaboratively stated that it was a good head start for a session on digital marketing.
