Inbound marketing has emerged in response to the solution, which the market was facing in terms of attracting customer, promoting their brand and services, and creating awareness. The internet and its accessibility has changed buyer behavior, empowered them with information and allowed them to make their own decision when it comes to choose a brand. Buyers are into their own control now, what, when and how to consume, they are ware of every detail. Old time interruptive marketing technique, such as print advertising, cold calling, brochure distribution have almost gone passed and replaced with inbound marketing technique. An inbound marketing is a process of attracting customer with the help of  blogs, e-books, social media marketing, e-mail marketing and bringing customers close to the company. Following are the 3 important stages of inbound marketing:

1. Traffic generation:

The first and the important stage is getting traffic for your website. This is the area, which requires the most time, planning and execution, because it is the foundation of  inbound marketing technique. It requires you to consider how to represent your business online, who are your target audience, how you are going to engage them, what you want to share with your audience. In this stage, the goal is to leverage tactics, which will bring the huge amount of visitors to your website.

2. Website engagement and conversions:

The second stage in the process of inbound marketing is engaging visitors on your website. It’s important to ensure you are able to connect with your visitors that come to your website. In this stage, each visitor will be in a different position of sales cycle, so its important to identify how to engage your visitors, who are not ready to buy. Activities most commonly associated with site engagement and conversions include, sharing out your contents on social media platforms, where your prospect customer spend most of their time. Try to engage them with the good and relevant contents and put CTA(Calls To Action) buttons to turn them into lead.

3. Calls To Action(CTA):

A CTA is a banner or button, which is placed on the website for the ease of the user, whether he wants to subscribe, or purchase. Calls to Action tells a visitor what to do next, they are like hyperlink buttons, that take the user from the content they are viewing to a landing page to start the visitor into lead conversion process. In inbound marketing CTA’s are the most important element, without them you cannot find a correct way to convert visitor into leads.
