Empowered HCL’s Global Inside Sales Team In Leveraging Social Media For B2B Lead Generation

The journey started with Social Media Marketing Workshop for Intuit India’s Leadership Team in Mar 2010. We got an opportunity to recently train Global Inside Sales (GIS) team at HCL Technology. The workshop was led by our co-founder Pradeep Chopra. The objective of this workshop was to empower and enable the participants to leverage their personal profiles on Twitter & LinkedIn to reach out to and engage with potential customers and influencers. While HCL’s team was already using LinkedIn actively, they really got present to the new opportunities in leveraging Twitter. For e.g. identification of influencers on Twitter based on a defined geography and subject area using Tools such as twtrland was one of the key takeaways. Relevant Social Media for B2B case studies across similar companies increased their confidence about the opportunity of Social Media for B2B Lead Generation.
